Meet our friendly and experienced dental, hygiene and administrative team at The Town House Dental Practice in Tunbridge Wells.
Peter has followed in his father’s footsteps to pursue a career in dentistry after graduating from Bristol University. Peter is our resident cosmetic dentist and undertakes all dental implant treatments at The Town House. He enjoys spending time building a trusting relationship with all his patients and providing treatments in a relaxed and pain free way using the most modern techniques.
Sally graduated from Newcastle University in 1986. Sally was awarded her Masters degree in Laws (Legal Aspects of Medical Practice) in 2004. With over 30 years of experience, Sally has a loyal following from building strong relationships with her patients in a friendly environment, and the ability to make each patient smile with confidence.
Ian has been practising dentistry for over 30 years since qualifying from Guys Hospital in 1976. Ian has a special interest in root canal after completing a Masters degree in endodontics at the University of Warwick. He also has a keen interest in restorative dentistry as well as oral surgery, and enjoys providing his patients with a high standard of care in a relaxed and friendly manner.
Marcela’s career in dentistry began as a dental nurse after attaining her qualification (National Certificate NEBDN) in 2007. Having progressed to become a practice manager, she then pursued dental hygiene and therapy, qualifying from Kings’ College Hospital, London, in 2010 (Dip Dent Hygiene RCS Eng Dip Dent Therapy RCS Eng).
At The Town House, Marcela provides both hygienist treatments (professional teeth-cleaning, periodontal treatment and dental health education) and therapy treatments (the restoration of children’s teeth and simple restorative work of adult teeth). She is also able to provide teeth whitening.
In her spare time, Marcela is busy being a wife and mother to her young daughter.
Theresa qualified in 2006 from Kings College London, with a distinction and a prize from the General Dental Council. She aims to provide patients with the best possible care, within a friendly environment.
Theresa provides hygiene appointments, periodontal treatment and oral health guidance to our patients, as well as cosmetic stain removal and implant maintenance. She routinely provides teeth whitening for patients.
Outside of work, she is a busy mum of two young children. And she loves paddle boarding and climbing boulders!
Sammy has undertaken training in dental implants, oral surgery and treatment co-ordination. Sammy is one of our smile advisors and helps patients through their treatment journey. She is happy to meet you for a free consultation at The Town House or even at a coffee shop where she can:

Having started dental nursing in 2000, Sally brings with her a long experience of dental nursing, both in general dental practice and specialist orthodontic practice.
Outside of work, Sally is a keen photographer and also enjoys running and kick boxing.
Alison started her nursing career in 2007 and qualified as a dental nurse from West Kent College in 2009. She enjoys every aspect of dentistry but does have a particular interest in cosmetic treatments and dental implants.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys family days out with her three young children and is also a keen runner.
Karen brings with her more than 20 years’ experience in the medical environment – 10 years as a pharmacy technician, followed by 11 years as a therapy radiographer. Karen is the person to greet you when you call or arrive at the practice.
Libby has worked in customer service for 10 years and it has become a passion of hers. At The Town House, Libby is there to lend a helping hand and make the experience as easy as possible for our patients.
Outside of work, Libby enjoys spending time with her three children and walking her dogs.
